Report: Penn State women's lacrosse hiring Syracuse's Kayla Treanor as new head coach

Former Penn State coach Missy Doherty shocked the lacrosse community on May 1, stepping down from her position after 15 years.

Her successor is reportedly Syracuse head coach Kayla Treanor, who announced her departure to her players Wednesday afternoon according to a report from Matt Kinear of Inside Lacrosse.

Treanor spent the last four seasons with the Orange, helping them to a 59-24 record.
