Report: Penn State men's soccer names Vermont's Rob Dow as next head coach

Following the hiring of Matt Campbell, a new head coach will be joining Penn State, this time one who will be leading his team out to compete at Jeffrey Field.

According to Jon Sauber of the Centre Daily Times, Penn State men's soccer has hired Vermont's Rob Dow as the program's next head coach.

Michael Dugan and Jack Fitzsimmons of Channel 3 News in Burlington, Vermont, reported that there were ongoing negotiations between both sides.

In 2024, Dow led the Catamounts to winning the national championship. He has led them to an NCAA Tournament appearance in five of his nine seasons, with all five coming in the last five years.
