As former Penn State wrestlers Bo Nickal and Zain Retherford vie to make the United States World Team at the upcoming Final X: Rutgers event, they'll be doing so without a fellow former Nittany Lion — David Taylor.

Taylor, the reigning 86 kg world champion, announced via Twitter that he was pulling out of this year's Final X event after not being fully recovered from an injury sustained during this year's Beat the Streets charity event on May 6.
