Penn State's offensive line grows up and into a major strength for upcomnig football season

There were times in 2017 when Penn State’s offensive line looked like an unfolding disaster.

Turns out that it might simply have been a work-in-progress. That certainly is how the Nittany Lions seem to view it.

Not only because of the strides the unit made in the season, culminating in its contribution to a 545-yard offensive effort in Penn State’s 35-28 victory against Washington in the Fiesta Bowl, but because of how it has continued to grow and develop since then.

“The offensive line has improved tremendously since last year,” center Connor McGovern said.

Make no mistake, there was plenty of room for it to get better.
