Lamont Wade, a Penn State defensive back and Clairton resident, has long been outspoken about social issues, and the police shooting death of Antwon Rose II last Tuesday is no exception.
In addition to returning from University Park to participate in protests such as the one on the South Side Saturday, Wade has used social media, including his Twitter account [@Goony_38] , to express some strong views about the incident.
Joining the protest tonight.. Penn State football player @Goony_38.
He at one point confronted police who had set up a barricade. He eventually walked away.
