Penn State wrestling's newest starter impresses while another newcomer looks to get started

Freshman Nick Lee admitted that he hadn't paid much attention to Penn State wrestling before he committed here.

This season though, Lee has gained attention of his own, from both fans and coaches, after a successful Southern Scuffle, which led to coach Cael Sanderson pulling his redshirt and naming him the starter at 141 pounds.

But Lee's primary focus was never on being the starter. Like many of his teammates, the primary focus was on helping the team.

"I'm out there to wrestle and score a lot of points, so that's what I try to do," Lee said on Tuesday afternoon.
