Penn State wrestling’s Jason Nolf leaves Rutgers match with apparent knee injury

During Penn State's road dual meet against Rutgers on Sunday afternoon, the bout at 157 ended quicker than expected, but not because of a pin.

Jason Nolf had to leave with a knee injury, giving John Van Brill the injury default.

Van Brill had Nolf’s ankle in control and had it bent against the knee joint. The referee stepped in, but it may have been a little too late.

Nolf’s eyes went wide when the call was made, and you saw him lay back and reach for his right knee.

Coach Cael Sanderson and the training staff came over to assess the situation.
