Penn State wrestling had its first match of the season on Friday, Nov. 14 and the Nittany Lions did not disappoint against Oklahoma. With the 2025 championship banner hanging high above them in Bryce Jordan Center, they lived up to their potential and the true freshman proved themselves quickly.

Here are the full results from Friday night's match:

Connor Mirasola filled in for Josh Barr in the 197-pound match. He won by major decision, 13-3, and put Penn State up 4-0 after the first.

The redshirt freshman set the tone for the rest of the night against DJ Parker even without Barr, PJ Duke, or Lucas Cochran.
