Winning at a prolific rate has become par for the course for Penn State since Cael Sanderson took over 10 years ago.
Under Sanderson, the Nittany Lions have won seven of the last eight national titles, crowned 51 All-Americans and 20 individual national champions.
Most recently though, Sanderson's squad has won 49 consecutive dual meets dating back to Feb. 22, 2015, and won all but three of those duals by double digits.
Last season, two teams were able to nearly give Penn State a scare, pulling off come-from-behind wins against Lehigh and Ohio State.
While those were both statement wins for the Nittany Lions, and even though they were without Vincenzo Joseph against Lehigh and Jason Nolf against Ohio State, it did demonstrate that under the right confluence of circumstances, Penn State is potentially beatable.
