Penn State wrestling earns commitment from Class of 2027 wrestler, Gavin Mangano

Penn State wrestling gained a new commitment.

Gavin Mangano announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions on Sunday. The 132-pound wrestler is the No. 17 recruit in the Class of 2027, according to FloWrestling.

A two-time state champion, Mangano continues the pipeline from New York to Penn State.

Mangano wrestled at KD Training Center, the same place where Rocco Welsh and PJ Duke trained.

He is the first recruit the blue and white have landed in the 2027 class.
