Penn State wrestling advances five to the finals after Session 4 of the NCAA Wrestling Championships

After the fourth session, Penn State has surpassed Ohio State in the team standings. Penn State improved their team score to 120.5 points, and Ohio State stands in second place with 109.5 points. Penn State had all five wrestlers win to move onto the finals tomorrow, while Ohio State has two wrestlers competing for a title.

Nick Lee came into the “blood round” looking to leave as an All-American, and that’s exactly what he did. Lee took control of the first period over Tyler Smith of Bucknell with two takedowns and a two-point nearfall, giving him the 6-1 lead going into the second period.
