No. 2 Penn State will begin its season with a ranked matchup against No. 12 Creighton as a part of the AVCA First Serve Showcase in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Nittany Lions and Blue Jays met in the regional finals of the 2024 NCAA Tournament in Rec Hall, with the blue and white escaping in five sets.
The teams will face off at 5 p.m. Saturday during opening weekend of the 2025 NCAA volleyball season.
The roles will be reversed to kick off the season, with Creighton likely having the home crowd. Less than 70 miles is all that separates Creighton from Pinnacle Bank Arena for the opening contest of the campaign.
