No. 8 Penn State opens its 2025-26 season at home against No. 9 St. Lawrence, with puck drop being at 6 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
For the second straight year, the blue and white had its season ended by the Saints in the regional semifinals of the 2025 NCAA tournament.
Unlike the last two matchups, Penn State will be playing with home ice advantage. This could be beneficial for the Nittany Lions, but as history shows the Saints are undefeated inside Pegula Ice Arena.
Penn State currently has a 1-9-1 record all-time against the Saints.
