Penn State women's basketball secures transfer commitment from Amiya Evans

Coach Carolyn Kieger is continuing to hit the transfer portal.

Former Georgia forward Amiya Evans signed with Penn State on Monday after spending the past three seasons with the Bulldogs.

The Pensacola, Florida, native played in 18 games last season, averaging 20.6 minutes per game. Evans recorded 5.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks with the Bulldogs in her junior season.

Evans will join Gracie Merkle and Rachael Okokoh as the only forwards on Kieger's squad next year.
