After dropping its last two games, Penn State women’s basketball returned to Rec Hall for the first time in a month, hoping to end 2025 on a high note. In order to do so, the Lady Lions would have to get past No. 4 UCLA, in the Bruins first ever trip to University Park.
UCLA entered the matchup on a six-game win streak, most recently defeating No. 19 Ohio State in Columbus.
The blue and white couldn’t keep up with the Bruins, falling by a score of 97-61
UCLA’s 6-foot-7 Lauren Betts won the jump against 6-foot-5 Maggie Mendelson to get the game going.
