Coach Coquese Washington announced the addition of De’Janae Boykin from the University of Connecticut to the Penn State roster.
Because Boykin is subject to the NCAA Transfer Rules, she is required to sit out two semesters before playing. Boykin will be eligible to compete during the second half of the 2016-17 season.

The freshman transfer is a three-time gold medalist in international competition and earned McDonald’s All-American honor as a high school senior. Candice Agee, Brianna Banks and Sierra Moore have received the honor as well.
Boykin was the 2014 Gatorade Player of the Year in Maryland after averaging 21.
