it’s very early into the offseason, so it’s the perfect time for analysts and writers to make their predictions for the upcoming 2019 college football season. in the latest prognostication, Bleacher Report’s Kerry Miller feels that Penn State will have one of the best defenses in the nation this year.
According to Miller, the Nittany Lions are ranked as the No. 2 defense for the season.
Penn State features a solid core of returning players on defense, including defensive lineman Yetur Gross-Matos and sophomore linebacker Micah Parsons. Both players enjoyed breakout seasons a year ago and are expected to do big things in 2019.
