Coming into the series finale against Washington, Penn State had a chance to get back to .500 to end its regular season.

However, the lack of scoring offense caused a 8-0 loss to the Huskies on Sunday at Beard Field, dropping the blue and white to 24-26 overall and 10-12 in Big Ten play.

Abigail Britton started at pitcher for the Nittany Lions, whose defense got two outs quickly via a pop out to second base and fly out to center field. First baseman Alexis DeBoer swung a hit to center field, but a pop up to third base on the next at bat ended the top half of the inning.
