Penn State softball has announced its four captains for the 2026 campaign. Junior infielder Kaylie Walters, junior utility players Michela Barbanente and Brooke Klosowicz and senior catcher Madison Seidel.

Walters enters her second season as a Nittany Lion after starting her collegiate career with Saint Francis. The shortstop started all 52 games in 2025.
Barbanente is coming off a breakout sophomore season in which she primarily played second base for the blue and white and started 49 games.
