Penn State seasons, careers to celebrate: A look at some of the most overlooked efforts in recent history

Cefalo’s best year as a punt returner was 1977, when he averaged 13.7 yards on 18 returns and took one 77 yards for a touchdown against Kentucky. Cefalo ran for 55 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 102 yards and a score — a 49-yarder — against Baylor in the 1975 Cotton Bowl. And Cefalo was selected as Penn State’s MVP of its Gator Bowl loss to Notre Dame.
