As the Big Ten tournament kicks off, Penn State women’s soccer is embracing the pressure that comes with postseason play. Head coach Erica Dambach says the team isn’t backing away from the moment, they’re leaning into it.
“This is what the NCAA tournament feels like,” Dambach said. “Why not get an opportunity to feel that type of pressure now?”
The Nittany Lions will host Ohio State on Sunday at Jeffrey Field, where the team hopes to harness the energy of its signature White Out crowd. Dambach called the home atmosphere “magical,” urging fans to show up and be the team’s “fourth man.
