Penn State has opened as a 6.5-point favorite against the Minnesota Gophers. The two 8-0 squads will meet on Nov. 9 following a bye week for both schools this upcoming weekend.
Minnesota has been one of the biggest surprises of the college football season by starting with an 8-0 record and climbing to #13 in the AP Poll. They will be searching for their first marquee win of the season against #5 Penn State, as the Gophers have not played a ranked opponent thus far, and faced just two teams with a current winning record — Illinois and Georgia Southern, both with five wins.
