Penn State Opens as Favorite Against Michigan State

Penn State has opened up as a seven point favorite ahead of its week nine contest at Michigan State.

The Spartans stand at 4-3, and have lost its last two games after getting blown out by both Ohio State and Wisconsin. They are coming off a bye week, giving them time to recover and allowing an extra week to prepare for Penn State.

Michigan State started off the season with wins against Tulsa and Western Michigan, and has victories against Big Ten foes Northwestern and Indiana. Their other loss came in heartbreaking fashion to Arizona State after a game-tying field goal at the end of regulation was nullified thanks to a penalty for having 12 players on the field.
