In return, Dallas received two first-round draft picks and a front-line player. Parsons' contract with Green Bay is a $188 million deal with $136 million guaranteed. He'll make $47 million per year.
This concluded a long-winded contract dispute between Parsons and the Cowboys, particularly with Jerry Jones. According to Parsons, Jones and the team told the defensive end to play on the fifth year of his rookie contract or leave the week of his trade.
