Penn State men's track and field finishes fourth at Big Ten Indoor Championships, women's team places sixth

After claiming the top spot at last year's Big Ten Indoor Championships, the Penn State women's track and field team couldn't duplicate that success this season.

The women's team, which was in second place after the first day of competition, finished sixth with 70 points after 18 events across two days of competition.

Minnesota claimed its first championship on the women's side since 2009 with 91.50 points, followed by Purdue (80 points), Ohio State (75 points), Indiana (75 points) and Iowa (74 points).

On the men's side, Penn State finished fourth among the 11 competing teams.
