Penn State men’s tennis finds form in competitive Virginia Tech Invitational

Penn State coach Jeff Zinn got what he wanted this weekend.

The Nittany Lions started out the tournament strong with two days of over .500 finishes and they certainly got a lot of tennis in for every single player.

The invitational is played in a hidden dual format on a points system. A No. 1 doubles win will earn six points, No. 2 will earn four points, No. 3 with two and No. 4 with one. For singles, the points awarded drop in one-point increments, with No. 1 singles win notching eight points and No. 8 singles getting one point.
