Jeff Zinn received ITA Atlantic Region Coach of the Year honors for going 20-9 this season, the program’s third 20-win season in history — all under Zinn’s tenure. The Nittany Lions were stopped in the second round of the NCAA tournament, but not before picking up the third NCAA win in school history.
Zinn was able to maximize the upperclassmen he had to fuel a big run. Senior Constant De La Bassetiere saw himself lead the team and put in huge performances alongside fellow captain Ben Lieb, with the Frenchman reaching the NCAA singles tournament himself in the process.
