After a victorious nonconference match a few days previous, Penn State traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, to face off against Wisconsin — its final match of the regular season.
With the Badgers maintaining a lead for most of the match, the Nittany Lions were able to pull through with a goal in the second half — making the final score a 1-1 tie.
The draw turned out to be just enough for the blue and white, as it was crowned Big Ten Regular season champions.
Starting off the game, the blue and white and Wisconsin were coming off strong offensively on both fronts.
