Coming off a 4-1 loss to then-No. 5 Indiana, the Nittany Lions looked to get backin the win column Tuesday against No. 23 Maryland.
Penn State tied with the Terrapins 2-2 behind a wild finish, which included two goals in the final ten minutes.
Coach Jeff Cook ran the usual 4-4-2 formation with redshirt freshman Jonathan Evans in net. Sophomore Laurin Mack started in net for the Terrapins.
Both sides got settled in early, with offensive chances being scarce. Junior midfielder Freddie Bell almost had the blue and white’s first chance of the night, but his shot was blocked in front of Maryland’s net.
