Penn State has battled through some close games already this season, and Wednesday night was another example.
The Nittany Lions pulled out an 84-80 win over Harvard inside the Bryce Jordan Center, improving to 5-0 on the year. Despite starting off well in the first half, they fell behind 38-35 at halftime to the Crimson.
Toward the end of the first half, Penn State only scored two points for a five-minute stretch as Harvard went on a run to take the lead. Coming out of the break, the Nittany Lions went on a 7-0 run to take a 44-40 lead, but it was still a close contest for much of the second half.
