A host of Nittany Lions have received preseason honors for being the best among their position, with Jake Pinegar joining in on the fun today. Pinegar was one of the 30 players placed on the Lou Groza Award watch list, which will be given to the nation’s top kicker.
Pinegar enters his junior season after two years as Penn State’s starting kicker. He missed just one field goal in 2019, finishing 11 of 12 on attempts while converting 56 of 58 extra point attempts. His long for the season came on a 47-yarder against Indiana.
