Penn State hockey released its 2025-26 non-conference slate earlier today:
The two-game series with Arizona State and RIT were set earlier in the offseason.
Penn State’s first home series will be on October 9th and 10th against Clarkson, overlapping with Penn State’s homecoming week festivities. It seems likely a Frozen Four banner raising ceremony will be held on October 9th, but nothing is official yet.
Overall, the non-conference schedule is not very challenging, although Arizona State and Clarkson both finished in the top 20 of the Pairwise last season. I would have liked to see a series against a Hockey East team, but the perennially-loaded Big Ten will give the Lions plenty of tests in the regular season.
