Penn State hosted Luke Kunin and the Wisconsin Badgers this past weekend inside of Pegula Ice Arena after splitting the series with Minnesota last weekend. The students were back in town this time and made their impact felt all weekend long.
On Friday night, Wisconsin opened up the scoring by way of sophomore defender Jake Linhart on the powerplay in the first period. That would be the way the first period would come to a close. The Nittany Lions did not look good starting the game and were on their heels for the majority of the period.
