Entering Week 7, we have a good idea of who Penn State football quarterback Sean Clifford is. The redshirt Sophomore came into the 2019 NCAA football season as nothing more than a question mark. With just under ten passes in his college career, Clifford was offered a major task of taking over as the Nittany Lions starting quarterback this year.
The good news is that Clifford got his first start against what most would consider to be a ‘cupcake’ opponent for the Lions in Idaho. Clifford got off to a shaky start but eventually settled into his role.
