The week hasn’t gotten any better for Penn State football. Just last week, the team was feeling great. As they ranked within the top five, cracking the fourth spot on the College Football Playoff rankings, it felt like the Nittany Lions couldn’t do any wrong.
That changed on Saturday as the team dropped their first game of the season. After heading into Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers, the Lions had a chance to notch another big win on the year to improve their case of being one of college football’s best.
Unfortunately, they ended up taking their first loss on the season and falling back out of playoff contention.
