Major changes on the Penn State football roster this offseason through the transfer portal, graduation and the NFL Draft means there are a lot of unknowns entering the 2019 season. Many of the players that started during a three-year run that saw the team go a combined 31-9 are gone but plenty of talent is back as well. It offers up a chance to make predictions going into the fall.
The quarterback position stands out the most in terms of upheaval. All-time great Penn State passer Trace McSorley is gone and being replaced by redshirt sophomore Sean Clifford.
