Former Penn State standout Saquon Barkley has enjoyed a fantastic rookie season in the NFL. Taken as the No. 2 pick in the NFL draft by the New York Giants, Barkley has put up big numbers and shown why he was considered the best running back in the college ranks last season.
Barkley’s efforts with the Giants this season have earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl — the first such honor for a Giants’ rookie running back since Tucker Frederickson in 1965. Barkley garnered 987,562 votes for the Pro Bowl, making him third among all vote-getters.
