Former Penn State football running back Miles Sanders used strong workouts to move his name up NFL draft boards. Although not a first-round pick like last year’s No. 2 overall selection Saquon Barkley, Sanders has helped to add to Penn State’s reputation of producing NFL running backs. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 21 pick in the second round.
Dating back to his high school days, Sanders has always had the potential to be a great player. Heading into college he was rated as a five-star recruit and was ranked as the to running back in the 2016 class.
