There were some lofty expectations for Penn State football heading into the 2018 season after back-to-back seasons of at least 10 wins. Unfortunately, the Nittany Lions hit some bumps in the road and finished the season with a record that was much worse than fans would have hoped at the beginning of the year. The Nittany Lions landed at No. 17 in the final AP Poll of the year.
Penn State was 9-3 in the regular season and ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll and No. 12 in the CFP rankings heading to a Citrus Bowl matchup with Kentucky.
