For a moment, former Penn State football quarterback Matt McGloin might’ve figured his playing days are officially over. As NFL teams failed to call over the last few years, McGloin started to transition from the field to the media aspect of the game.
Suddenly though, the former Nittany Lion got a call from the pros. No, McGloin is not headed back to the NFL, unfortunately. Instead, he will get an opportunity to star in football’s newest league, the XFL. For a while now, we’ve been made aware of the XFL’s resurgence.
As we know, the league had existed before but didn’t last very long.
