Penn State (3-1) looks to stretch its winning streak to four as it plays host to the Army West Point Black Knights (1-3) on Military Appreciation Day. The sold out crowd can expect a patriotic day and are likely to hear a few “U.S.A.” chants break out among the “We Are Penn State’s” that traditionally echo through Happy Valley. Regardless of rooting interests this Saturday it’s important that we all take a moment to recognize the effort and sacrifice that Army West Point and the other U.S. service academies and military members make so that we can continue to enjoy our Saturdays filled with family, friends, football and freedom.
