It seems as though Penn State football’s ‘white-out’ weekend was a massive success in more ways than one. For starters, Penn State’s relentless fans sold-out Beaver Stadium for the enormous event, as expected. As crowd noise can play a major factor in football, the Lions needed the energy from their fans, and they got it.
Secondly, the Nittany Lions came away with another win on the year. With that victory, Penn State advances to 7-0 on the season, sitting just outside of the top-five on the AP Top-25 coaches poll. While Penn State had tons of attention on them before the Michigan matchup, that win inevitably moves the needle for doubters this week.
