Penn State Football: DT Robert Windsor awarded Big Ten Defensive Player of The Week

Penn State football thrived this weekend against Wisconsin, thanks in part to the play of junior defensive tackle Robert Windsor. The Fort Du Lac, WI native had two sacks and six tackles. The Badgers offense was stifled by the Nittany Lion’s defense.

Thanks to the play of Windsor and the rest of the defense, Penn State was able to hold Wisconsin to a season-low 10 points. Wisconsin backup quarterback Jack Coan racked up a mediocre 60 yards passing, and a pair of interceptions. Coan’s 60 passing yards were the lowest by a Wisconsin quarterback since Tanner McEvoy’s 50 yard performance against LSU in 2014.
