Penn State Football: Case for Trace McSorley for offensive MVP

Penn State football entered the 2018 season with some very high expectations after a win over Washington in the Fiesta Bowl the previous season. Quarterback Trace McSorley was returning as one of the best in the nation at his position and was an early candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

Although those expectations were not realized, McSorley still put up some good numbers during his final season in Happy Valley.

The Nittany Lions struggled more than expected on offense this past season, but McSorley made a strong case to be considered MVP of the Penn State offense.
