A change of scenery can do wonders for any player, and it’s seemed to do that for third-year defensive end Carl Nassib. After spending his first two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, Nassib has rejuvenated his career with the Tampa Buccaneers. Penn State football’s former star has more than doubled his sack total this year, while becoming a more consistent force.
Nassib was waived before the first game of the season and claimed just one day later. The third-year player did see improvements in his second year in Cleveland. He logged 12 more tackles, but he didn’t play well enough or apparently get where the Browns wanted him to be to stay around for one more year.
