As expected, the Penn State football program took care of business at home on Saturday. To open the 2019 NCAA Football season, the Nittany Lions hosted the Idaho Vandals at Beaver Stadium, and well, the results were somewhat expected.
What we expected was the Lions to win and win with authority. What we didn’t expect was their offense to hang nearly 80 points on their opponent to open the season while pretty much almost putting together a shutout on defense. In other words, Idaho was not ready for the Nittany Lions.
The Lions’ defense was relentless on Saturday.
