Penn State enters the 2016 season with more depth on the offensive line than in previous years. The added depth should help improve a line that was one of the worst units in the nation over the last two years. Redshirt sophomore Chance Sorrell is one of the guys who will provide that important depth.
Sorrell appeared in just three games as a redshirt freshman, but is now in line for an expanded role
A four-year letterman at Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio, Sorrell and played both tight end and tackle. He earned several honors during his senior year, including All-Southwest Ohio, All-Tristate Football, and All-Greater Miami Conference.
