Penn State crushed Lindenwood 9-3 in the first game of the Thanksgiving weekend series. The Nittany Lions controlled the game from start to finish, never trailing at any point. Jacques Bouquot led the way for Penn State with his first career hat trick.

After a slow start, Aiden Fink put the Nittany Lions on the board first, tapping in an easy rebound off a shot by Dylan Gratton. Fink has scored a goal in four straight games. Following back to back penalty kills, Penn State extended the lead to 2-0, with Ryan Kirwan finding the back of the net from the low slot.
