After competing against some of the top teams in the country in the Nuttycombe Invitational and Princeton Fall Classic two weeks ago, Penn State was prepared for the postseason.
The Nittany Lions kicked off the long-awaited postseason on Friday at the Big Ten Championship in East Lansing, Michigan, where the men’s squad finished eighth out of 15 teams and the women’s squad second.
The men’s squad got off to a fast start through the first 1,000 meters as junior Nick Sloff led the way in 28th place with graduate student Justin Healey and senior Caiden Leen just behind him in the top-50.
