Despite not playing in the NBA Summer League following his senior season as a member of the Penn State basketball team, shooting guard Shep Garner was able to find a spot not in the NBA, but with the G-League with the Grand Rapids Drive. The Grand Rapids Drive are affiliate with the Detroit Pistons.
While it took some time, there was never a doubt Garner would find a place to play with his second-to-none work ethic combined with his ability to hit three-pointers.
Shep Garner hit 336 career three pointers at Penn State, which is the most in school history, and the third most in the history of the Big Ten.
